App Privacy Policy
Effective October 8, 2026 · Reyes and Rivera LLC
This policy describes GoMaybe's current pre-release iPhone app. GoMaybe is still in development and is not yet publicly available on the App Store. We will update this policy to reflect material changes before making them available. Launch-website signups and reminders are covered separately by our Website Privacy Policy.
Your planner stays on your device during app use
The current app does not require an online GoMaybe account or use a GoMaybe server to store your planner. Event details, plans, notes, preferences, saved source images and links, and ticket records you choose to save are stored locally. Ticket records may include PDF or image copies, provider links, order references, seats, prices, and related notes. Reyes and Rivera LLC does not receive this library merely because you use the app.
The app uses local storage protections provided by iOS. Your normal device backup settings may allow another copy in a device or cloud backup. Backup availability, protection, retention, and recovery depend on your settings and provider. Local storage does not mean no copy can exist elsewhere.
Images, files, camera, and text recognition
You choose the photos, screenshots, or files to import and whether to use the camera. Text recognition runs on the device using Apple frameworks; the current app does not send images or recognized text to an external AI service. Saved app image copies are rebuilt without original embedded metadata. PDF ticket copies may retain information embedded in the selected file. Your original files remain outside the app's control.
The current native build does not use photo-location metadata or request your device's location. Choosing an item stored in iCloud or another connected Files or Photos service may cause that service to retrieve it under its own settings. GoMaybe does not scan your email, connect to ticket-provider accounts, or scan Apple Wallet.
Calendar permission and your choices
With your permission, GoMaybe can read Calendar timing information on your device to compare plans for conflicts. The comparison uses temporary busy intervals; unrelated Calendar titles and notes are not sent to a GoMaybe server or venue provider. You can use the planner without granting Calendar access.
Adding an event to Apple Calendar requires your explicit action and confirmation. Updating a linked Calendar copy also requires your approval. The reviewed event information you add becomes part of your selected Calendar account, and its provider may synchronize it. Changing or deleting information inside GoMaybe does not automatically erase external Calendar entries.
Notifications
With your permission, reminders are scheduled locally on the device. Ticket-sale reminders can show the event name by default; the Hide Event Names preference uses generic wording. iOS notification-preview settings also affect visibility. Notification content excludes ticket images and barcodes, order numbers, seats, prices, private notes, and Calendar-conflict details. Delivery depends on device settings and platform behavior.
Venue lookup and external destinations
In private development builds where venue lookup is configured, the app may send a venue name and necessary event city or region to Geoapify to find a public venue address. That provider receives normal connection information, including the request's IP address. The request does not include your screenshot, full recognized text, Calendar contents, ticket files, private notes, or user or photo coordinates. Public venue address and coordinate results may be saved with the event.
Geoapify processes requests through its infrastructure and service providers, with its own operational logging and retention. See Geoapify's privacy policy. This describes the current development integration; any public-release provider arrangement will be reflected in this policy before release.
When you deliberately open a saved source or ticket-provider link, GoMaybe asks you to confirm the destination. The destination receives the saved link and normal visit information. A ticket link can itself contain sensitive information. GoMaybe does not append your private notes, Calendar data, or ticket files. Directions send the reviewed venue, address, or city to Apple Maps after confirmation. GoMaybe does not supply your device location as an origin; Apple Maps may use its own permissions. Destination services have their own terms and privacy practices.
Analytics, advertising, and support
The current app has no third-party advertising, behavioral analytics, session replay, external AI, or crash-reporting SDK. We do not sell your planner information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Apple may process platform or diagnostic information under your Apple settings and its own policies.
If you email us, we receive your contact information and the message and attachments you choose to send through our support mailbox, hosted by Porkbun. We use that information to answer you and handle related support, security, or legal needs. Please do not send passwords, complete ticket barcodes, payment details, or unrelated personal records. Contacting support does not give us remote access to your local planner.
Retention, deletion, and controls
Your saved app records remain until you remove them or use Delete My App Data. The app's deletion controls remove the corresponding current app-managed records or copies and associated app reminders. They do not remove original Photos or Files items, provider tickets, external Calendar entries, or copies in earlier device backups. Removing a local ticket copy does not cancel the ticket with its issuer.
You can manage Camera, Calendar, and Notification permissions in iOS settings. Support correspondence is retained as needed to address the request and related legal or security obligations. You may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of information you sent us. We may need reasonable verification; applicable rights and exceptions depend on the law. Because we do not hold your local library, local app and device controls are the way to manage that information.
Adults, security, and changes
GoMaybe is intended for adults 18 and older. If you believe a child has sent personal information to us, contact us. No technology can guarantee absolute security. Keep your device and backups protected and review destinations before opening links.
We will publish changes here with a revised effective date and provide further notice or obtain consent when required. This policy does not itself grant device permissions or authorize new data uses.
